Paint Industry

Helsh-Tech rotor pumps and homogenizing emulsifying pumps are widely utilized for the conveyance of organic solvents and additives (auxiliaries), including leveling agents, matting agents, lubricants, inks, paints, insulating varnishes, waterproof membranes, film-forming substances (resins, emulsions), curing agents (water-based, powder-based, auxiliaries), pigments and fillers (including extender pigments), as well as for various process requirements involving mixing, homogenizing, and emulsifying. Among these, film-forming substances form the basis of paints, shaping their fundamental characteristics and serving as the primary component of paint films. These substances include oils, oil-processed products, cellulose derivatives, natural resins, synthetic resins, and synthetic emulsions. Pigment materials are generally divided into two types: 1) coloring pigments, such as titanium dioxide and chrome yellow; 2) extender pigments and fillers, like calcium carbonate and talc. Solvents encompass hydrocarbons (mineral spirits, kerosene, gasoline, benzene, toluene, xylene, etc.), alcohols, ethers, ketones, esters, and other media raw materials for conveyance and emulsification.

Engineering Cases

Raw Material Homogenizing Emulsifying Pump / Cam-type Transfer Pump (Displacement Pump)

In paint production, Helsh-Tech rotor pumps and homogenizing emulsifying pumps primarily convey materials of various viscosities, including oily paints, fiber paints, synthetic paints, inorganic paints, solutions, latexes, sols, powders, glossy, matted, and multi-color artistic paints, and resins. These pumps utilize solvent-water film-forming bases to disperse and form viscous liquids. Helsh-Tech's rotor pumps and emulsifying pumps, with their unique structural principles, perform pre-mixing (grinding), dispersion, blending, and other processes on paints. Meanwhile, they can be customized according to different material characteristics and operating conditions to meet actual demands. During material conveyance, these pumps exhibit stable operation, low noise, low failure rates, long mechanical seal lifespan, and easy maintenance, effectively reducing users' equipment operating costs in the later stages.

Waterproof Membrane (Waterproofing Material) Transfer Pump

Waterproof membranes (waterproofing materials) are divided into three major categories: asphalt waterproof materials, polymer-modified waterproof membranes, and synthetic polymer waterproof membranes. Asphalt waterproof membranes are made by coating a base fabric with asphalt and then sprinkling sheet-like and powdered isolating materials to form a rollable sheet waterproof material. Helsh-Tech rotor pumps are used in the conveyance of high-viscosity materials such as asphalt during the production of waterproof membranes. Due to the high viscosity and high temperature characteristics of these materials, there are extremely high requirements for the transfer pumps. Combining actual operating conditions with scientific application technology, Helsh-Tech rotor pumps provide special customizations for users based on different material characteristics and operating requirements, including pump clearance, smoothness, and sealing. These customized pumps exhibit stable operation, low failure rates, and long service life during conveyance, reducing maintenance costs.
