Ningbo emulsion pumps are precision combinations of rotating stators that generate strong shear forces at high speeds to achieve mixing, crushing, and emulsification. They can disperse, shear, and emulsify materials in a short time. However, during production, several issues may arise with the emulsion pump, directly affecting its production efficiency. If you encounter an emulsion pump failure, you can refer to the following four methods for inspection and repair:
1.If the Ningbo emulsion pump experiences significant pressure pulsations, insufficient flow or no flow, severe pipeline vibration, and noise, the factors to consider include: air in the pump suction chamber not being discharged; the plunger being sealed during suction; the suction hose being too long or bent; the suction and discharge valve spring being broken or the valve core being damaged; the suction valve screw not being tightened; or the suction filter in the liquid container being clogged. The solution is to loosen the exhaust screw on the pump body to remove the air; remove the drain valve and fill the plunger chamber; replace the suction hose or eliminate dead corners, replace the spring or valve core; tighten the suction valve screw plug; and clean the suction filter in the tank.
2.If the emulsion pump has no pressure or the pressure cannot be adjusted after starting, the factors to consider include: the lower hole in the pilot valve being blocked; the relief valve or the main valve of the pilot valve being stuck or damaged; or the piston ring on the thrust piston being damaged. The solution is to unblock, repair, or replace the affected parts according to the issue.
3.If the emulsion pump temperature is too high, it may be due to damaged bearing bushings, insufficient lubricant, or unqualified lubricant. The solution is to add oil or clean the oil pan and replace the oil; repair the crankshaft and replace the bearing bushings.
4.If there is a knocking sound during the operation of the emulsion pump, it may be due to increased clearance in the bearing bushings; debris in the pump; or a gap between the plunger and the pressure-bearing seat. The solution is to replace the bearing bushings; remove the debris; adjust the motor and pump to be coaxial; and tighten the compression nut.
Ningbo emulsion pumps are characterized by their compact structure, ease of operation, and high production efficiency. However, improper operation can easily lead to pump failure.
